Since the inception of the laboratory accreditation programs (first under the auspice of AIHA), volunteers and site assessors that performed exceptionally well have been recognized with named awards when they excelled in their roles and/or went beyond their normal roles to deliver a program, product or service that benefited the laboratory community. Typically, the senior management team has selected awardees that have been approved by the Chair of the Analytical Accreditation Board (AAB.) Starting in 2025, however, AIHA LAP began formally soliciting nominations from all LAP volunteers and site assessors using a survey form that required the nominee to provide detailed reasons for the award. By the May 15 deadline, we received a fair number of robust nominations with awardees selected by AAB Executive Committee.

AIHA LAP is pleased to announce the 2025 LAP awardees for those individuals that have made exceptional contributions to AIHA LAP over the past 18 months.
